About MACLA:
MACLA is an energizing contemporary arts space where Latino artists create and showcase new work in the visual, literary, and performance arts to help define, interpret, and transform society. Each year, over 20,000 people participate in MACLA’s fifty plus programs in four distinct programming tracts: visual arts; performing & literary arts; youth arts education; and community development through the arts. Rather than preserve traditional art forms, MACLA’s programs focus on the creation and presentation of contemporary works with a cutting-edge approach that allows room for experimentation.
