Sarah Beth Gon?arova's Swing Like Tarzan, Baby presents over 40 paintings and collages created from 2005 to last week. Shown will be highly textural pieces on plaster and on paper, her whimsical collages, as well as a collection of recent oil paintings.
Sarah Beth Gon?arova earned her BFA in sculpture and extended media from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts and a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland. She shows frequently in galleries throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and has exhibited in group shows in New York and in Europe. She has work in numerous private collections in the US and abroad. Her work features people, usually in pairs, who are connected by an unspoken tension.
Interpretation of Color features the dynamic paintings by Nadia Vinogradova "I would like to talk to you using a language of color. This language is elegant and naive, beautifull and confusing, bright and dim at the same time. It is not very easy to understand this language sometimes but it is intriguing always."
Nadia Vinogradova was born and raised in Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Russia. Although she was at the top of her middle school art class, it was not until her late twenties that she realized that life has a tendency of rolling along, and if she really wanted to be an artist she had to do it now or it would really be too late. By that time she already had a Master's Degree in Physics, was getting ready to defend her Ph.D. thesis, and all that had made her smart enough to take a night class at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
After attending Toronto School of Art, Nadia took studied with artists Michail Petrenko and Anatoly Zaslavky, member of the International federation of Artist (IFA) in Russia. Nadia is a member of The Pacific Art League and The Atelier School of Classical Realism in Oakland.
Encouraged by a quick success at the student’s show in Toronto, Nadia has exhibited her works at several juried shows in Toronto, New York and the Bay area. Many of Nadia Vinogradova's works are now in private collections in Canada, the US and Russia.
